Exhausted

Hey all. In the past seventy-two hours I have, among other things:

Read a stunningly amazing book by beelavender;

Witnessed a six-foot pink bunny rabbit marry the deceased (but well-preserved, with her head sewn back on) Marie Antoinette;

Along with several colleagues, hosted a fantastic and seasonally appropriate talk by the debonair Garth Nix, and had a great dinner with him afterwards.

So, I’m a little tired today.

I just finished Empress of the World for the fourth time. :) Nic and Battle are so well developed as characters, and Nic’s feelings of confusion about her sexuality made the whole story very easy to relate to. I really, really enjoy your writing, and am eagerly anticipating the sequel.

So basically i wanted to let you know that you’re awesome!

We just went to World Fantasy Con in Wisconsin. Saw Garth Nix just a few days after your dinner. Wish I’d known, I’d have said something. Serves me right for not checking your blog more often.
