Katie totally schooled me on the Gameboy.
I made a Mii. She looks a lot like Velma from Scooby Doo.
Reading the news via Wii=bizarre. (Thanks zoe_trope for caps correction.)
LibraryThing=ludicrously addictive. Most interesting thing I’ve noted so far: how passionate I find myself about making sure it’s the right book cover. Especially with books from my childhood.

Who else is using LibraryThing?

I think it’s Mii & Wii, no caps-lock necessary. I think my Mii looks very funny– I gave her half-lidded eyes and a straight a mouth, so she looks sort of sleepy and pissed off at the same time. Just like me!

I love LibraryThing. I don’t keep up with it regularly, but every couple of months I go on a spurt to try to add all of my new books to my collection.

This has nothing to do with the post! But..

I am re-reading Empress of the World and I saw this passage.. “He makes my stomach hurt. I always get embarrassed when I’m around people who have no idea how annoying they are.” and I identify so much with that!

And, since I’ve not gotten any of my friends to read it.. and I needed to share.. I told you! I hope you don’t mind, heh.

Very, very hooked on LibraryThing… though I use it to keep track of what I have read, rather than what I own. This has been much easier than continually looking for the little book I used to use to record everything I read–I’m much less likely to misplace the computer. And it’s another way to avoid cleaning house!

I made a Mii but I don’t know how to access it.

I haven’t touched LibraryThing yet…I’m out of free time.

Using LibThing is on my list of things to do when I graduate. Organize my studio. Move it to the little house. Weed the books in my collection that suck. Or even ones we like but, hey, we need more books, so give it to the Goodwill.

Katie’s b-day is in May, in case you are looking for an excuse to play a new game with her. :-)

I use LibraryThing at work and for myself. I’m also kind of obsessive about covers, though I haven’t found time to go through and check all my covers and make my tags consistent. I need to scan some covers, too.
