Are y’all Tumbling?

I have lately been contemplating moving my site to the Tumblrverse.

Are you on Tumblr? If so, what do you think of it?

    I recently joined and I find the best way to describe Tumblr is it’s like looking at a teenager’s bedroom wall–which is awesome. I enjoy the streamline approach to posting that whereas formats like WordPress take longer to make a post.

    I think that whether you move to Tumblr or not will be irrelevant to me. I’ll just switch my RSS feed. But I do wonder whether it will be a huge pain for you to move everything over there… I’m generally in favor of having one’s own site and controlling everything on it rather than being part of some “community.”

    Yeah, I see your point. Tumblr doesn’t really seem to be designed to have years worth of posts imported into it. I’m becoming inclined to make a Tumblr for something in particular — photos, maybe — but move my main site to SquareSpace. (I’ve been getting hacked and spammed pretty relentlessly here in WordPress, and yes I’ve been dutifully updating, and updating the plugins too. It’s a frustrating mystery.)
