Tonight we devoted ourselves to restoring the house to something like order.

So when we took Snag to the vet the other week, they told us that his less appropriate behavior is likely “status agression.” We can modify it, they said, by shouting “NO!” or clapping loudly to startle/scare/redirect him when he does us wrong.

Fortunately, the vet had a stepladder.

N.B.: We did not put him in there.

At our house, we all watch The Wire.

Snag, inside the flat file that is perhaps our best estate sale acquisition ever. Sixteen drawers, big enough to store original comics pages. Snag is in the zines drawer.

…but I lost my results trying to format them properly.
Here are the highlights: Costume Designer was #1 (yay, Katrina would be proud!), Cartoonist/Illustrator was #12 (sure, if I could draw), Pet Groomer was like #19 or so (only Snag) and Writer was way down at #38.

We don’t have a bread box.
Actually that’s a lie. I have a fantastic bread box with two compartments, one labeled Bread, the other Cake. But it is extremely old and rusty and I use it to store all my old journals:
